Lisa

It was clear to me from the start that I would need another future herding dog on the Alp. At first I thought about importing a finished dog from England. I looked at lots of pictures and videos of the dogs, but there was simply no one that caught my attention or it was sooooo expensive that I gave up on the idea for various reasons.
Then I saw little Lisa by chance in a photo on Facebook and that was it.

So she moved in and I'll be honest, I prayed that she would start staring at sheep at some point. Because she found them absolutely unspectacular until she was 8 months old. But then click and the fire was ignited. 

A seminar and further private training with Beate Behr (Wales) helped us to find each other and I have now taken the cuddly lady to my heart.
She is a completely different type to Jasper or Aslan. Lisa has something elegant, graceful and moves very lightly. She reacts very quickly to the sheep, which hasn't always made it easy for me as a beginner. The goal is the aptitude test in spring 2025 and then she can get to know alpine life in a relaxed manner, although she will of course be introduced gently and can just be there at first.
We do a bit of obedience on the side, although I have to admit that I'm not forcing anything here, as the main focus is definitely on working with the sheep.
